The PASS Help Desk has received a few calls regarding PASS usage with Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 (IE8).  One issue that is definitely caused by IE8 is the lack of drag-and-drop functionality in Analysis.  Analysis is "usable" in IE8, but you'll have to scroll down to the bottom of the page to have the field select dialog box appear.  Also, graphics will not be displayed at all in Analysis under IE8.  Therefore, ProServ recommends Internet Explorer 6.  IE6 is also certified by Ariba for use with Buyer v8.2.2, which is the current verison of software on which PASS runs.  Users have reported that Mozilla Firefox 2 works as well.  However, to be sure you get all of the PASS functionality, use IE6.
